MORNING OR AFTERNOON SESSION – NO RIDING

Chiang mai Kanta elephant sanctuary half day join in the group visit Chiang mai elephant sanctuary where elephant roaming free in the nature . short trip in the morning you will get change to interact to elephant, feeding elephant, bathing, swimming with elephant. This half day your also get chance walk with elephant to a nearby river. observe elephant get muddy for a healthy cosmetic mud treatment to their skin. After elephant are clean you can take some final photo with them. then get change into your dry clothes and have a seasonal fresh fruit before leave Kanta elephant sanctuary back to the city.

Morning Itinerary

6.30-7.00am early we start pick up all guest from different locations hotel.
7.30 am Driver 50 minutes north of Chiang Mai
8.30 am Arrival at Kanta Chiang Mai Sanctuary Get basic information about elephant, get change into traditional clothing and prepare fruits for our elephants.
9.00 am interact with elephant,Feeding elephant by hand, learn about their behavior and history, take some more photo with them
10.00am Walk with elephant san observe elephants when they are in the river get muddy and bathe with elephant.
11.00 am Prepare for leaving the sanctuary, Get change to your dry clothes, have some tea,coffee and seasonal fruit before get in the transportation driver 5o minutes back to your hotel or accommodation.

Afternoon Itinerary

13.30-13.30 pm we start pick up all guest from different locations hotel.

17.00 pm Prepare for leaving the sanctuary, Get change to your dry clothes, have some tea,coffee and seasonal fruit before get in the transportation driver 5o minutes back to your hotel or accommodation.

Note : the Sanctuary will allow your to spend as much time as possible with elephant therefore, there is no formal schedule and aside from pick-up times, the time shows here are approximations.

Temperatures can soar to 40° C and won’t drop below 25°C. You should drink a lot of water. Sometime between June-July evening downpour start to come.
The rainy season in Jul- Oct
Temperatures stay over 30 °C on day time. In the morning, usually sunny. In the evening or night can be hot or cooler depending if it has been raining or not. very humid. Rain comes every form, at any time, day or night, it rarely rains for more than an hour at a time. You better bring your own raincoat. Or you easily buy one at 7-11.
